Re: IPEC will double from current prices during the next recovery starting
in 12 months. This is an NCAA layup

Jay,

At this point, I think most of the equips I hold will have at least doubled in the next 12 month timeframe. The challenge at this point for me is finding those companies which will increase 4-5X fold. Until I learn more about IPEC, I will be reluctant to put any $$ to work there.

As I have stated, I have seen D/E's #'s for this co. of 84%, especially disturbing sice holding large amounts of debt in this industry could kill you in a cyclical downturn. Mason Barge has already said he believes the #'s posted on yahoo are wrong. Haven't had the time to do any more research on it to this point. Hopefully I can do this in the next week and put some $ to work before we see a spike off of these lows.

Regards,

Brian

BTW, I wanted to know why the DRAM situation is so important to your Bullish/Bearish stance. DRAM revs have fallen from ~60% in '95 to ~40% now for the likes of AMAT and others, so the impact of any slowdown should not be as pronounced as in the past. I agree that the stabilization of DRAM prices is important for this industry after the previous year of freefall. However, I disagree that stable DRAM prices alone are necessary for growth of the equipment biz. TIA for any thoughts.
