The crux that Rand and followers miss.. ? Altrusim is SELFISH but also species beneficial... people are altruistic EXACTLY BECAUSE IT MAKES THEM FEEL GOOD.. God is certainly a big part of my life.. Religion and God are not the same. All religions are artifacts and have been manipulated from their invention for wrong purposes.. We taught this.. This spawned the missionary movements disrupting so many lives.. (Unintended consequence).. I know there is ongoing debate on this inequity.. Based on words from the Bible attributed to Jesus.. Which provide a fair solution.. But that is not how we were taught in the mainstream.. Which brings me to the why JoH query.
