MRSA is only one of many new problems we have to deal with so yes, stay out of the hospital or get out as soon as possible. I don't think they keep people in the hospital more than five days even after a heart attack because the risk of infection is so high.

No; we just grit our teeth and soldier on. You never want to tell your patient that you are sick, even if you have staph.
