Well I can't believe I've never noticed that cool whip has high fructose corn syrup. I love the texture and flavor of Cool Whip, but after that revelation, I'm off of it, and will switch to Redi-Whip. I'm too lazy to make my own, so will let them do it for me. I looked at low-carb ice cream recipes on line just now, and also found there are several commercial brand avail in the grocery store. easylowcarbdesserts.com It's taking us awhile to learn about this new (low carb) diet we're on, and hadn't thought to search for low carb ice cream, so thanks for the recipe. I was only thinking of other fruits due to the high carb count in Bananas, but it does make a good amount, so I'll figure out carb count per serving.
