Many Trumpsters are heartland blue collar labourers... they like trumps protectionist policies, his xenophobic/racist/anti-immigration stances and to some extent his tax cuts for business (i.e. the promise of more "jobs"). They don't like the EPA and anything that might get in the way of the promise of more "jobs".

They'll go with whatever their leader says. Abandoning long-standing allies, buddying up to long-standing foes, abandoning free trade, having no problem with a leader who calls for taking guns without due process, who calls for universal health care for all paid for by the government. No matter what he does, belittling POW's and the families of fallen heroes, modeling immoral behavior, chronic lying .. no matter what, they support it. If he survives the midterms and Congress goes Democrat, he'll move much farther to the left and they'll follow. That's when they'll go fullbore progressive.
