dennis i think that the buyback law is fine.
buffett never split/rebought berkshire, and that didn't hurt him any..
bottom line this company's CASH reserve is a giant piggy bank that will be there for the company to buy raw materials etc cheaper in singapore.. even if it's own shares are CHEAP.
I see the boon it would be for me as a long{for creaf to buyback}
but i really don't think that a quick fix is the answer.. it may be to make YOu and others losing money to "feel better" the stock market and efficient companies should not spend time worrying about share buybacks or splits..
these are inefficient ways for the company to spend its time..let the company grow its business the right way and let the market do it's thing..
we all knew that there was that law for a long time now..

"The imbecilic buyback restriction"

Why don't someone get on the conference call this time and pose the question to Sim?

Or is there a conference call this quarter?
