The other words SUPPORT the ones I quoted. They don't nullify them.

Suspected Gang Member WANTED by Law Enforcement.

COMMUNITY ADVISORY

On March 13, 2018 deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 29300 block of Northwest Freeway in reference to a Weapons Disturbance. Upon deputies arriving they met with the complainant who advised that a male drove by him in the parking lot and began to throw gang signs then attempted to run him over. The complainant was in fear for his life and immediately pulled out his handgun for safety. The driver then exited the vehicle with a box cutter knife and threatened the complainant before fleeing the scene. Investigating Constable Deputies were able to identify the driver as Humberto Ponce Jr. “Humberto Ponce was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He received No Bond out of the 184th District Court. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, you are urged to call our dispatch or your local law enforcement.” -Constable Mark Herman Follow Us at facebook.com to receive live feeds on crime and arrests in your area.

Re guns and schools: NYC Mayor De Blasio is removing ALL armed officers from NYC schools.

............ officers will visit schools while on patrol, and unarmed “safety agents” will work at each school.

“My colleagues think it’s outrageous — and really stupid,” teacher Arthur Goldstein said. “We’re not enthusiastic about arming teachers, but we liked having a cop around.”

Some schools – like one where a student recently threatened a shooting – are taking action against the mayor. ........... “It’s ridiculous,” Lovett said. “All over the country they are telling you ‘arm the teachers, get an officer in your school.’ New York City had a designated officer and they are actually cutting the program .?.?. they are making us less secure. ................

Sorry for being cynical, but I wonder if De Blasio doesn't secretly wish for a school shooting so he could blame the NRA and demagogue his way into a Presidential candidacy?
