Jay - Some kids are more ready to leave than you are for them to leave. Is that better?

After a month or so into my freshman year at college my Mom called me at my dorm room.

Mom: "Are you still alive?"

Me: "What? Of course, what do you mean?"

Mom: "Well, we haven't heard from you in over a month."

Me: "Well yeah, I live in Berkeley now."

It was only 30 minutes from where I grew up, but a world away in my mind. They finally took to calling and asking me home for dinner periodically.

am not relishing the day when it is time to nudge the coconut and subsequently the jack out of the nest

No worries mate.. to you.. Erita will always be coconut and jack will always be the jack :)) That's the way it works...

Nature doesn't want people thinking much about having children. It's okay for a lot of thought to go into fridge purchase and car selection.

Nature ensures little thought goes into the decision to have sex. Males lose their minds as the blood drains from their brains when a gorgeous woman offers great incentive.

Before he knows what happened he's the proud owner of a baby. Nature wants to ensure people don't worry about the future when it comes to procreation.

when the time comes jay, and they are ready
to leave, there will, more than likely, be no nudging
required. furthermore, they are like bad pennies.
they keep coming back .... thankfully.

my firstborn, sarah, is very creative, extremely empathic,
and carries the weight of the world on her shoulders.

son bryan is much like your jack - happy go lucky. he
has been with us this past month helping out and
entertaining us. small pleasures are wonderful and
life is good. :)
