***1 STOCK 1 WEEK*** MU Short open 1/14 - Kind of hard to go against the euphoria following INTC's earnings, but MU is now trading at more than 20 times next year's estimated earnings and they still seem like a commodity manufacturer to me. If I owned any, I'd be thrilled to be able to sell it for over 30 a share.

Ketan Thakkar initiates coverage with a Strong Buy on MCHP (Microchip Technology). **** One Stock 1 Week **** MCHP long open 1/14

They report earnings tomorrow after the close and solid results will carry this stock much higher, perhaps options may hinder its movement until Monday but my guess is that results will give a boost.
