It doesn't matter for this reason. What most people do not understand is that today each party votes as a block with very few exceptions. In effect it is the Republican tribe/army against the Democratic tribe/army.

And each army is a coalition of tribes. The dem tribe has minorities, women, kids and yellow dog liberals like myself. The Republican tribe is the conservatives, evangelicals, crooks, crazy people and uneducated and rural white folks.

This is why voting for a liberal third party is nuts, it weakens our army. They are like a tribe that stand apart and will not fight with us. It does us no good that they share our values if they will not stand with us e.g. Jill Stein should have stood aside and supported Hillary, but she is a squirrel.

Lamb is now in the Democratic army/tribe and he will go along with our platform most of the time. He absolutely will go along with single payer health care and affordable education, as he ran as an FDR Democrat and that is what all of them need to run as. And he will be a great help rebuilding unions.

We thought we were getting FDR with Obama and we got a Hubert Humphrey, but the base of the Democratic party is hungry for an FDR president.

I am happy that Lamb won. I am a radical liberal, progressive democrat. I am not so sure an ex-marine can represent my values in any shape or form. But any minute change to the Left would be better than what is in place now.

Do you have any idea where Lamb stands on single payer universal healthcare?

Rarebird,
I am not so sure an ex-marine can represent my values in any shape or form.
What do you have against ex-Marines? They can be just as socialist as you are. Doesn't happen often, but we're all individuals here.
