Of course not, one has to ask who had the power, who voted and what was political influence pubs generated i.e making dems afraid to even talk against tax cuts!

The Republicans beat the dems to death with their low taxes mantra and all of the big tax cuts were done by Republicans. Don't you know that?

Reagan quintupled the debt from Carter's 50 billion to Reagan's 250 billion by cutting taxes on the rich by 100 billion and increasing defense spending by 100 billion. This was carried on for 12 years by Reagon and Bush sr, even though their original claim was that a tax cut would lower the debt. In fact it increased it by three trillion.

Then bush and now Trump.

You know this shit, so what are you talking about?/

Would the Gen Xers or the Millennials have done things differently? The truth is that Baby Boomers have dominated Congress and the White House for a long time. Doesn't that make them culpable, since they held the reigns of power? Culpable for our debt and the evisceration of the middle class and the enrichment of themselves at the expense of every generation that comes after? Can you really blame it on the Gen Xers or Millennials, neither of which has held majority power for the last 30 years?
