I had to replace some vinyl siding on our covered porch because some moron decided to leave the grill 8-12 inches from the wall while grilling steaks. Luckily the moron was able to match the color from a local Menards but had to buy a box of 12 to replace 6. The melting pattern was very pretty!

The vinyl is so easy to work with. It bends and is lighter, so much easier to handle. There is a special siding tool that makes life so easy to take off and replace. The difficult part is to leave it loose enough to expand or freeze without cracking but not loose enough to flap in strong winds. Maintenance is a breeze. We soak it down with Wet-and-Forget every 2 or 3 years and let the rain wash it clean with every storm. Greatest cleaning product I ever owned. It works on vinyl, brick, concrete, and we even used it on a dryvit (stucco) house to control the north facing mildew/mold.

ps: Yes, the moron moved the grill.
