Thinking without being educated by history is simply an exercise in reason without context. That is why American Millennials and members of the Resistance think Socialism is cool, whereas, Venezuelan Millennials, who call themselves "La Resistencia" are opposing Maduro's Socialism and are paying with their lives. American socialists are dilettantes with little true understanding of what they seek. The people who have lived with Socialism and watched it destroy their lives don't have the luxury of ignoring history.
