You list Cuba, North Korea and China as communist countries. They are dictatorships for Christ's sake--- as opposed to a democracy.

The kids are all for democratic capitalism not socialism as a political system. If you suggested that to them they would think you are nuts. Do you think the kids want dictatorships? They do not, I assure you-lol!

I have studied them to, in depth. It does not matter where your family comes from. Universities also have in depth knowledge about the ism's.

You keep thinking of capitalism as a poiltical system and it is not.

The modern political and economic systems in most civilized countries are democratic capitalism.

So why are you even concerning yourself with any of the other fringe strongmen variations?

We and the world will continue to expand Democratic capitalism as it makes the most sense. Do you disagree with that??

koan,
I have made a study of capitalism, socialism, communism, capitalism, fascism, and every other ism during my life. I've read all about these things in history and I have an extensive family background in a communist country. So we have firsthand experience with Socialism and Communism. I know a lot about these subjects. I've tried to explain some of those things to you in very simple terms, but it doesn't seem like you have absorbed what I explained.
there are no communist countries - koan
I suggest you take a look at some of the facts. We do have both communist and socialist countries, even in this day and age. You'd think those awful systems would be a thing of the past, but people really never learn, which is why we are doomed to keep repeating the mistakes of the past in a never ending historical loop.

A List of Current Communist Countries in the World

Start with the first misconception: i.e. if a country like North Korea or Cuba is a dictatorship how can you call if a communist country.

In logic if your foundational supposition is wrong then the rest of your argument will be wrong.

Or, if you think capitalism is a political system. It is totally an economic system and one that has to be regulated by a democracy.
