art,

I can see an ugly, expensive bidding war breaking out for NRID........Gates would win.....He always wins.

Clearwater would jump at it.....IDX/NRID..... Problem is that BAT has the same stuff...so it would be just to clear the road. I'm not sure IDX is worried. Salomon does not even mention NRID in their list of IDX competitors.

And can they do it not owning the technology?...Cogent may not alow squat.....or there may not be squat without Cogent.

Add credit union number three siging up to install finger imaging kiosks in their operations. Riverside Health System Empl. Credit Union in Newport News, VA will install their first unit in March, 1998. The system comes from Real Time Data Management the provider of the Purdue Empl. Fed. Credit Union kiosk using NRI technology.

The credit union is small in size serving about 3,300 members with assets of $4.5 million. Their President said they could not afford to pass up the service based on the cost. They plan to install up to 5 units over the next several years. The system is called "Money Buddy" and will do everything the kiosk at Purdue does except disburse cash.

Both Fiserv and Real Time Data Managemet will display their finger imaging products at the National Association of Federal Credit Union technology conference in Los Angeles on February 11-12.
