>>>I was at my store today when I asked a man who said he was new to Reading what he did for a living. Said he was working at Lucent, for a couple of months. Said he had his own company and was working on the Y-2000 problem. (must have beeb 27 years old max.) He worked for Oracle. I asked if he had some kind of tool set, he gave a puzzled look and said they check every line of the application. I asked him about embedded chips He Had no idea what I was talking about!!!!

Oh, what a coincidence!

I was at a bookstore today reading some computer magazines and a friendly gal was standing next to me. She turned to me and asked "What are you reading?" I said "Oh I am reading to see if embedded chips will have problems after year 2000". And she said, with a puzzled look, "why are chicks in bed having problems after year 2000?", to which I replied "Because some embedded chips cannot read the year properly after year 2000". The gal then looked at me smiling and said "You must be very good to make chicks in bed loosing their mind and not remembering the year".

Sorry, I can't resist.

Good night everybody.
