Henry Luce owned Time magazine and he and the right wing kept the lie alive for many years with right wing propaganda.

Johnson and the group think dems and right wing hawks started it, but guys like Luce and Nixon and the moderate dems and Republicans kept it going.

It was a shameful time in our history. The Viet Nam protesters should be remembered as heros.
