Gop voters seem to be fine with lies about balanced budgets, soaring deficits, WMDs and anything else that their party tells them. This is not new with Trump so we agree on that part. What is different is their willingness to vote for people who do harm to the country over an extended period of time and their unwillingness to put in power people who can govern. I don't think there's a single republican in Congress who knows how to govern. They know how to get the press to eat out of their hands, but governing is beyond them.Our Democracy will not survive this madness if we don't get rid of every single republican in power. George Will said the gop is the party of racists now and that's why he had to leave the party. I guess all their other lies were okay.

If you gave that answer on any test, you would flunk. What the professor would tell you is that it is imperative that individuals give up some rights for the strength of society. Remember, that the individual cannot survive without society. It must have society. And the only way you can have a strong well-functioning, fair society is through the cooperation of all the individuals. This means giving up some individual rights. Speed limits, red lights, building codes. This means for example, that if the tribe runs into a hard winter and people are starving, but one warrior managed to run a herd of buffalo over a cliff, the society has the right to force that individual to share that herd of buffalo with the rest of the tribe. It is these sorts of interactions and how well they are thought out and conducted that is in the best interest of the individual and affords the maximum actual freedom, and freedom from harm! <<"The smallest minority on earth is the individual.
