I'm thinking it's about as hypocritical as Dems who support women's rights and the poor yet set those beliefs aside for Ted Kennedy, Clinton and OBanker. Go figure.

Apparently brainwashing works very, very well.

Conclusion:

Both parties are over the top hypocritical and politics in the USA has been reduced to the level of sports with rigged games.

Republicans believe what their party tells them so that's why it's so easy to get them to shift their entire belief system. From free trade to tariffs? Com'on. They're intellectually weak.

While it's possible for people to change their minds on any subject (liberals tend to do this far more often) they do it when the party tells them to do it. They don't seem to have any control over it.

When their party calls itself fiscal conservative and then gives us $1 trillion deficits when the economy is growing, this is not normal.
