That is pretty impressive, but things usually, eventually, go bad when a leader doesn't pass the reigns to the next generation. He needs to work on preserving his legacy by setting up a government that will continue to thrive after he steps down. Maybe he is doing this, maybe he isn't...I really have no idea. Just saying...

I would trade Trump for him in a heartbeat, hell, I would even throw in Hilary and the whole Congress. :-)

geez, with money "data" like that,
it's almost as if
russian economics pose threat to western capitalism,
aka "banksters" and mic cos.
of course, such has nothing to do with
western fabrication of soviet evils.
nahhhh.....

Placing all of your real potential opposition in prison makes it easy to win a very election.

Robert Mugabe was Prime Minister or President from 1980 to 2017. Putin might dream of ruling another 19 years to equal Mugabe's 37 years. In spite of ruinous inflation and roaming death squads Mugabe remains popular with many in Zimbabwe.

How many others besides the ever popular Shah of Iran have equalled that level of permanence?

38 years of Theresa May would be your dream come true!

Clever .. Picking 1999 as the beginning year and 2013 as the ending year for Putin's performance.

Look at the oil price low of $20 in 1999 and high of $100 in 2013.

Look how well the Venezuela GDP did over the same period. Everyone loved Chavez.

Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías was a Venezuelan politician who was President of Venezuela from 1999 to 2013. Wikipedia
