This is all I have read so far... Three students - including the gunman - are in critical condition after a shooting at a Maryland high school Tuesday morning. The shooting happened just after classes started at Great Mills High School around 8:15am. St Mary's County Sheriff Tim Cameron told NBC Washington that the shooter pulled out a gun and shot a teen girl before being injured himself in a shootout with a school resource officer. A male student was also hit by a bullet. The school resource officer was not injured in the shooting. Both the shooter and the female victim are in critical condition and the male victim, who was transported to MedStar St. Mary's, is in critical but stable condition. It's unclear if there was a relationship between the shooter and the two victims, Cameron said. 'You train to respond to this and you hope that you never ever have to,' Cameron said. 'This is the realization of your worst nightmare — that, in a school, that our children could be attacked.
