So now it's donut season. One of my sons has a friend who works at a local shop. They throw massive amounts of donuts out each day because I guess they can afford to given the margins (even though they stay fresh for a week). The local homeless shelter got so inundated that they no longer will accept them. So one day he comes home with a few hundred. All you need is one to go into a coma. Have you ever seen bacon on a donut? Talk about March Madness. So, two nights ago, we brought nine boxes of them to the 50 or so kids trying out for our varsity baseball team. Even they couldn't finish them. Coming to a shop near you, as they say? - Jeff
