Hi Paul,

I think you will have to go back to where currrencies are traded. These
banks buy and sell currencies just like anyone else does. Remember if their
dollars fall below what their gold reserves are it cost them more money.
So they have to keep their currencies up to where there gold reserves are
or their money becomes worthless.

Even though Citcorp is just a bank they still have gold to back it up.
It sits in a Fed. Reserve bank under their name.
