I agree. Unhinged liberals will use any tool to enable their socialist utopian dream of destroying freedom and redistributing the assets of the working people in this country. AGW seems tailor made to enable their scheme. However, that possibility/probability does not negate the overwhelming evidence that AGW is real and a problem that must be solved. Hell, you know as well as I do that the GOP continually uses Freedom and Capitalism as tools to gain followers so they can then screw over the people they supposedly are trying to help. All worthwhile things are used to ensnare people of good will. It's the way politicians and people with agendas operate. It doesn't mean that Freedom and Capitalism and AGW are not worthwhile causes, but it does mean that we need to be careful not to let a-holes hijack the things we care about.
