Good Morning margaret,
I see my favorite anylast Miss[always wrong except 1987] is at it again I nearly fell off my perch to see her on Cnbc and using the word depression. I thought that she found another job at the golden arches. Sorry for my sarcasm as Miss E.G. is always forcasting doom. I sincerely hope noone is following her lead . at their peril
Now we can wait for news from Intel. looks good from here.
According to the powers that be, conference call re; going forward will tell 1998
I am trying to decide what else to buy I think I will wait for a month until this thing shakes out but i am definitly buying. There is a lot to pick from as a lot is down.
Have a wonderful day, Hope it will be good news, Take care , Eliz

Margaret. Intel, Amat, GLM, MOT. Yes I guess everyone is still having trouble with SI. Sonki e-mailed me last night and wanted a link to get on. I am just now able to post again. I have been able to read the posts though by going on as a visitor.

Intel is doing great. I think we will be alright with Intel as long as they are near estimates. Look at Mot. A sigh of relief. Estimates were higher but they were also lower, so coming in at 3 cents below was still a relief.

Michael Murphy, the Tech.Stockletter, was on CNBC and said that the techs will only be affected by Asia to a very small extent. He sold Intel at around 100 and has it now as his No 1 stock. He also likes Amat and thinks it is cheap. Does not think Amat will be too affected by Asia either.

All the techs look good today and even the drillers have moved. Had GlM move up on me while I was out watching my wife bowl again. Sheesh, I guess I will try it tomorrow if something does not change again.
