"Good lord we had 2,000 years of Christianity and it was called the Dark Ages" That was followed by another 2000 years of Christianity called the Renaissance. That makes Christianity over 4000 years old, which will come as a surprise to most people. I prolly shouldn't tell you that monks kept education alive during the former period, enabling the latter. Christianity evolved over time. The morals imbued in modern US society come from Christianity, like it or not. I believe in separation of Church and State, but what I don't understand is why liberals get so hot and bothered about Christianity, but then embrace Islam, which has not evolved at all and treats women and gays like cattle and dirt. You all are so quick to condemn Christianity, but then you embrace Islam. Very perplexing.
