My fav from the dozen or more about Medieval History on the book selves. amazon.com Battle of Crecy (1346) was one of the most important in European History. The Black Death arrived shortly thereafter. Historians best estimates are, by the end of the war in 1453, the population of the continent & the UK was 30-50% below what it was in 1300. Took several centuries, after 1453, for the population to recover. Iso
