Interview on CNBC Squawk Box with John McStay, Mgr, Brazos Small Cap Growth Fund. When asked about tech stocks he said the way to play them was in the tech services companies (information tech companies) and getting away from manufacturers. An area to play this is in Y2K; the problem is bigger than most realize; "underestimated". There are companies that are well rounded who are using Y2K to enhance their core business.

He named some companies but not TPRO although in naming the 3-4 he also said "and others".

No I actually don't remember anybody mentioning that. Perhaps you can tell us where to find that info.

Tokyo,

inasmuch as I feel like you have a good feel for TPRO, and follow your insightful posts avidly, would you post your thoughts and position(s) for the various proxy bid issues as mailed out in the proxy packets these past few days ?

I have three different proxy forms before me to fill out and mail in (my IRA, wife's IRA (yes, she'll prepare her own form of course), and trade account) and I was interested in others' opinions (especially yours) on these voting positions.

Started to privately email you, but felt others would be interested.

Any other TPRO TMs with an opinion on these issues and how they will vote ? I will admit - I don't have a strong opinion at this point and am trying to do some homework versus blindly sending them in for the BofD to vote for me...just got my packets late yesterday (Mon, 1/12/98). I wish they had a platform to sign up new InvestorRelations rep - I think I would start with this "YES".

I lost some respectable money in HAN last year with their demerger, I feel, because the British management didn't know how to publicize their demerger effectively in the US. For a multi-billion dollar demerger, I bet there weren't three press releases in the US and a very meager road show pre-demerger. A true disaster for HAN shareholders in the short-to-mid-term. Who knows long-term ? This is the age of information...TPRO needs to be more vocal about their strengths and capabilities IMHO.

Thanks in advance - c-man
