Corbyn may have been the best thing that happened to Teresa May. I've made a number of British friends over the past couple years who are UKIP supporters, and they voted for May only to prevent Corbyn from winning. Otherwise, I think the UKIP vote would have been far higher. Even my liberal Brit friends didn't want to see Corbyn as PM.
