"COREL NUMBERS PUT ON ICE" "Analysts had mixed reactions yesterday to Corel's announcement the release of its fourth quarter numbers would be delayed because of the area's weather emergency. Some said it was the latest slight of hand from a company in deep trouble trying to delay the inevitable. "I think Corel is all smoke and mirrors now," said Josef Vejvoda of Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon in Toronto. "I think (Corel CEO Michael Cowpland) is just taking his time ... hoping to pull a rabbit out of his hat." To Josef Vejvoda in Toronto: Pick-up your sleeping bag and head off to one of the many shelters located in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Attempt to get a goods night sleep with the people who have lived there for now over a week (small babies crying etc...). Shower? You will have to wait about two weeks.
