I bet that high frequency trading uses a hellova lot electricity. Someone should alert the World Savers to that fact. You wouldn't believe what goes on behind the scenes in technology. The firms are always fighting over bandwidth, delays, and throughput. Have milliseconds advantage over your competitor is big bucks. If they can't beat their competitors with the best fiber cables available, they acquire real estate closer to the market servers.
