I'm not sure what you don't understand. When Dems controlled Congress for forty years after WW2, we created the largest economy, military and middle class in human history. It took republicans a few years to undo it with massive debt from tax cuts which take money from people who aren't born yet and gives it to the rich. Reagan did it. Bush did it and now Trump is doing it. No one has a solution for machines doing the work that men used to do. Republicans blame immigrants because they can't think and they're easily manipulated by slogans. With A.I. around 50% of our jobs are going to disappear. We need to prepare for that day just as we prepared for the boomers retiring (by giving the rich their money and then whining about how much it costs to give them back their money). You see, the republican mind didn't prepare for the boomers and can't prepare for A.I. It's too busy hating Democrats and defending its lies and failures.
