I went to St Eugene's where the colors were maroon and gold (same a LU my alma mater)
By the end of the school year those maroon ties were nasty looking.
Anyway it was 50 kids to a class and no lay teachers.
If you messed around we got lined up against a wall and one of the nuns would kick us in the shins with what looked like black army boots, with a spit polish shine.
Boot camp line up;?)

I went to Catholic school (Grades 1 thru 8). The way some of the nuns
swung the yardstick or pointer or their pinpoint aim at throwing
erasers at your head it was amazing that some
were not recruited.
