I think Intel will have quite some catching up to do to regain market share lost by CHPS in recent months ("not achieved certain design wins", I think, was an accurate reflection). If there was no INTC deal, the stock could have fared in a way similar to SIII (the market share leader in desktop graphics, as opposed to portable graphics, which dropped from teens to $5). BTW. I just noticed the quarterly results were posted -- I was not reflecting on that. They don't look that bad, could have been worse...
