you get the info.

The fact that MOT sees $2.5B in semi equip spending in '98 is good, but not great since they spent about $2.5B last year. On the other hand Motorola has not had a great year - they are getting their clocks cleaned by Ericson, Nokia, Qualcomm, Intel/AMD/Cyrix, ... . So I would consider Mot's estimated growth to be below industry averages (outside of memory).
