Trump is creating $1 trillion deficits as we speak. Reagan and Bush were just as bad. Every republican in Congress is also bad. I rest my case.

You know I'm going to keep pointing it out when you make ridiculous absolutist statements, because they really are ineffective debating tactics and devoid of logic. If you were more nuanced, you might be more worthy of engagement and you might be more persuasive. For example, I agree with you that Trump is certainly culpable for signing that bill and it was a monstrosity of profligacy. However, your conclusion that every Republican in Congress is bad has no logical underpinnings. To whit, below is the role call for final passage. If I used your logic, then 151 Democrats are "bad" and 169 Republicans are "bad". That would mean 113 Republicans are "good" and 85 Democrats are "good", which directly refutes your statement that "every Republican in Congress is also bad". Your logic is flawed and you ignore facts to state your case. The truth is that 256 Congressmen and 65 Senators got something they wanted in that bill and they compromised to get it. In the process, they have screwed the American people by spending more money that will end up being financed by more debt we can't afford. You see how that works? We both agree that this amount of spending is "bad", but the facts support a case to be made that both parties are very much at fault. That doesn't make them bad, but it does make them fiscally irresponsible.
