BigKNY3,Re:How long does it take for Viagra to work.I am aware that the above study only used visual stimulaion. The issue here is essentialy how user friendly is Viagra. It now appears crystal clear that just popping it in your mouth is just the first step.Stimulation is the nest step, visual or tactile. The issue becomes how long and at what cost ( discomfort, non-user friendly).let us look at the worst case scenario that it takes 60 minutes of stimulation to get an erection. Well then it is only at that point that sexual intercourse can begin. So to that 60 minutes you now have to add anywhere from 10-15 minutes ( average male time to orgasm ), to 20-30 minutes ( average female time to orgasm ).So the time involved can be as long as 1 hour and a half hour to as low as 50 minutes from time of pill ingestion to time of orgasm. I think that you might persuade several men to work for 50 minutes, but how many men can be persuaded to go for 1 and 1/2 hours? Again consider that they are tripling or quintupling their prevous time to achieve orgasm. During the 30-60 min of tactile stimulation needed by Viagra to achieve an erection the penis meanwhile is flat.So the male cannot stimulate himself as he often does with intercourse. So the question then becomes a) what other kind of stimulation will be used ( gg you answer that ) and, more importantly, b)WHO will do the work for all these 30 to 60 minutes to get an erection? What I am saying Big K is that time wise and effort wise this is quite a departure from what good old Homus Americanus was used to. My question again; can you teach an old dog new tricks? This would be an important marketing question for PFE don't you think? Well here is my research tha tyou can pass on to the bir boss, gg. as you knw I am a scientist and thus ALWAYS try and collect the empirical observd data.So I thought who best ton answer the question of " who will do the 30-60 min of stimulation than a woman?Yeah, so I asked mone of my secreteries that .( I did not ask my wife since gg since she is a cownwner of my Vivus stock gg her views might be biased against Viagra) and I wanted to be fair ). Here is her answer,I asked her to type it in personally:( by the way, she is 29 and married with kids ). A: " no woman in her right mind would wait 30 to 60 min. to achieve erection and even if she wanted to she probably would not even have the time, because of the kids, housework or even their own career work ". (There was a loud chuckle here which will not be formally recorded in this preliminary study,gg). I then asked: " well what if this is a retired couple with no kids " A: " I still do not see a retired couple playing with his penis for 30 to 60 min. " 3rd qestion:"What if they are a younger couple with no kids or career? or housework to worry about?". A: " I don't care what age they are; nobody wants to play with a penis that long.Besides name me one couple who has none of these worries of carrer / work ". Well bigK, I htink we need Vivus to the rescue. TA PS I would like to open this study to other members of this thread. I would like to ask them to ask their female partners on their opinion as to thei feelings of 30-60 min of male stimulation to achieve erection and , who should do that, the man or woman? Also, we have some female investors on this thread and I think their opinon would be very informative ( from an investment viewpoint of course ) as to how they and their female friends feel about this. Please post. TA
