RB, there's lots of possible reasons for gold's weakness the past two days.

1. Astrological - mercury retrograde started March 22nd and lasts ~ 3 weeks. When mercury is retrograde, TA signals often fail - breakouts turn into fakeouts, breakdowns are reversed, indicators fail.

2. Andrew Maguire participated in another internet interview and proclaimed that we are yet again very close to a price reset in gold and silver. Every time he does a broadcast or written interview gold gets slammed.

3. Month end tape painting. A close above $1348.2 would have formed a bullish engulfing candle on the monthly chart. February close was $1319.4 and December close was $1305.1. So month and quarter should both end higher - not all gloom and doom.
