Hmmm. I doubt that. If the deep state, which I know exists, and Soros did that, then they were very prescient in getting David's dad to move him to Florida 4 years in advance of the school shooting. The series of events for the deep state and Soros to have planned that out hangs on so many assumptions, that I have to invoke Occam's Razor and call bullshit on that.

I reserve to the right to change my mind when presented with new facts, but for now, David Hogg appears to be exactly what he is...a 17 year old survivor of a school shooting, who has had enough of a completely incompetent Congress and who decided to use his voice to make a difference. In the interview, he said he doesn't want to get rid of the 2nd Amendment or take people's guns away, but he does want a higher age limit and limits for people with mental health issues. I think that is a reasonable proposal.

As I told Ten, I think the extremist views are on the right and left. Right: do nothing. Left: get rid of the 2nd Amendment. There's a whole moderate group of us in the middle that want the Constitution protected, but don't want machine guns (or rapid fire mechanisms) in the hands of anyone in this country, but the military. I'm sorry, but if you need a machine gun to shoot deer, then you are not a very good hunter. I grew up in Texas and I believe whole heartedly in the right to bear arms, but no one needs a machine gun, except the armed forces. In addition, if I hear one more person spout the nonsense that we need the ability to stock up on high powered, rapid fire weapons so that we can have the option to overthrow our government if they turn Communist or Dictator, then I'm going to go mad. Has anyone considered that we're already passed the point of no return on that issue? Our government spends $1 trillion on the military every year, more than the next 30 countries combined. There is no way in hell that even a highly armed citizen militia is going to be able to take on the most highly funded and highly trained, most effective and lethal fighting force the earth has ever known.

The 2nd Amendment is our right, but we need sane limits.
