It doesn't surprise me. The left has had a hard on for this issue for a very long time. However, I do think something needs to be done and I do admire the kids for using their voice to amplify the urgency and for getting involved. My kids and I have never really been big political joiners. We prefer to work hard and earn money, but I do admire people who have the persistence and passion to bang their heads against the political wall enough times to make change happen on important issues. It takes all types to run a country. If the right leaning folks don't get more politically active, they will get over run by the VERY active left leaning folks in this country. If we don't have balance, then we'll become a very unhinged country and start to look a lot like Venezuela. No one wants that.
