New on-line Fortune has several articles about MSFT. The most surprising news is that American public still has very strong positive opinion of MSFT despite recent bad press. This of course brings up the debate of what relevance general public opinion has.

There is some action on CNBC. They just had a live update of the federal court hearing.

The brief report did not contain any significant news, IMO. But the fact that CNBC is carrying live updates seems interesting.

Microsoft claims their browser is a part of the operating system, not a separate program. I dunno.... Right now you can download their browser for use on Win 95, Mac and the Unix operating system. Sounds to me like it's a program that's available for use on various operating systems.
