I do not agree he was an authority on unions. He wasn't exactly brilliant on the law either- he didn't manage to graduate law school. This is the guy who tried to pack the supreme court. He didn't like being thwarted- like most insanely privileged people who just want to be obeyed. He was charismatic and he did more good than harm. But he certainly wasn't perfect. It would be nice if you had someone who was actually an expert on unions rather than someone who just happened to say what you like... I'm not convinced you understand either the concept I brought up or FDR. Sad face.
