Fatal genetic diseases that are fatal before sexual maturity are pretty rare. And gays are often heterosexually active prior to declaring themselves homosexual.

The reference was to identical twins studies, which is a different situation.

Again, for me it 100% about science. And the science just isn't there as of now. It may be some day. Not today.
