***Very OT*** The Scenic Taconic Region

E.!!!G.!!!, <g>

I think the 'T' word you're looking for is "Taconic."
The Taconics are the mountains east of Troy that Route 2
meanders through after you finish looping down from Mount
Greylock near Williamstown, Mass. Very nice, yes, and
relevant to what I do now both because the region was
one of the key producers of charcoal for American
ironmakers during the nineteenth century and because
the beauty of that area is one of the draws we use
when we're trying to encourage high-tech firms to
locate here. Okay, okay, it's not the Wasatch Mountains
of Utah, so Iomega probably won't move here any time
soon, but it IS beautiful. And, of course, our maple
syrup is better. <g>

Do you think the toilet manufacturers point the under-rim
jets in a counterclockwise direction for products aimed
at the North American market and in a clockwise direction
for products aimed at the South American market? Anybody
out there related to the Kohler family? <g>

Cheers, Tom (long IOM)
