Thanks. You are very kind. Do you celebrate Easter? If so, Happy Easter. In NYC, the vast majority of the Cantonese do not celebrate Easter. The parents are primarily Buddhist and the Children are agnostic, but they enjoy Christmas with presents and Christmas trees. Also, what I found very interesting is that most of the children have no interest in learning Mandarin. They speak English and Cantonese. Those from the mainland in NYC are even more detached from Christianity. As for the Taiwanese, they are a renegade province that needs to come back home to Mama. There is no getting around that, disagreements aside. Have to make peace with your mother or no good ultimately results.
