I was going by nfl.com ranking... and the ones ahead of him all played prior to pass-happy era, and then this pro-football-reference.com ... 2nd all time in rushing TDs, 3rd all time in total TDs (includes receptions and 2-3 TD passes to others on option plays) 4th all time in touches... and he holds the record for TDs in a season (31), again set during the era favoring QBs and passing... it’s subjective, sure, but I think he’s in the discussion for top 3-5 of all time...

I have lost so much interest in the NFL over the years, I just found out who Frank Gore is today when I looked at the list for all-time rushers...
