The best study of truth, facts - and human perception - is Akira Kurosawa's "Rashomon" - a movie made in 1950. Anyone who has seen it, IMO, should realize that there are profound, major problems with sending people to prison NOT for the crime, but for "lying" to investigators, federal agents, etc. Good movie, on the search page they actually have YouTube links to the full film. Search "akira kurosawa Rashomon"
