Flores tweeted: Mexican immigration authorities said they plan on disbanding the Central American caravan by Wednesday in Oaxaca. The most vulnerable will get humanitarian visas. Part two: Everyone else in the caravan, which has traveled through Mexico for days from Chiapas, will have to petition the Mexican government for permission to stay in the country or will have to leave. President Trump has not only been slamming our ridiculous immigration laws, he has been putting tremendous pressure on Mexico. Mexican immigration authorities claiming their decision to disband the caravan was not in response to Trump’s fury is laughable. Congress must act quickly to get our immigration laws under control. Obama’s dangerous ‘catch and release’ policy caused asylum applications to explode. On Sunday Trump threatened to stop Mexico’s cash cow: Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen also spoke out on Twitter Monday afternoon about the illegal migrant caravan moving through Mexico to the United States. Nielsen said she is working with the Mexican government and is ‘ exploring all options’.
