Agree with all that. As recently as 50 years ago, there were almost no places in the world where you could raise capital in the vast amounts the US could generate. If you had an expensive health care project (new drug, new piece of equipment, etc.) it pretty much HAD to be financed here.

Today, American capital markets have become the standard around the world for how securities are bought and sold, what they mean, how debt is structured, collateralized and subordinated, etc. So, you can get money in other countries.

I have no idea about Israel and its R&D funding but it is really cranking out some good stuff right now. One could see it becoming a real powerhouse in the near future. It would help if they don't get dragged into some nonsense.
