My buddy is also taking 2000mg Metformin daily. His blood sugar was at 435 six weeks ago when he was diagnosed.

My body does not respond well to medication. I have the reports right here in front of me because I went to Lab Corp directly (via Request a Test) and got my report emailed to me directly the next day at a nominal fee. Originally, my Hemoglobin A1c was 7.1 and the Glucose , Serum was 219. When I went back for the test 6 weeks later after the Zithromax or Azithromycin was completely out of my system, my Glucose, Serum fell to 95 and my A1c fell to 5.7. My endocrinologist felt it was the Zithromax I was taking from the Z-Pack that caused the spike. All I know is that I was diabetic and then 6 weeks later I wasn't.
